I Love Zucchini, Warts And All

If your kids are anything like mine, zucchini is considered a crime against human nature.
"Zucchini is the perfect crime. It's not only lethal, but it's absolutely untraceable. That's because nobody actually grows it. At least, not on purpose. It just … happens. Like weeds. Or Chernobyl"
So says the author of  this article, who found that even the less-than-desireable things in nature can be turned into something beneficial, and wonderful, when worked with skillful hands. How often do we dismiss the unattractive or the unpleasant, not realizing the virtue sometimes hidden within by an all wise creator?

TypeWriter Art

The pictures have got to be seen to be believed.

Every time I make excuses for myself in my own life, I just take the time to think about this guy, and move myself forward.

One of My Favorites, The "Og" Man Himself...

This is a phrase I have often repeated to myself in various forms in the past. I still repeat it today, to get me through my current experiences. As long as I have a mind to think with, I will fight to make it through.

So here it is.
